The Blue & Gold Standard is an NIL Collective founded to help form partnerships and bridge opportunities between Murray State student athletes and their community as they utilize their name, image, and likeness, ensuring the Murray State standard continues to be upheld with pride.

Although student-athletes are now able to profit off of their name, image, and likeness, university representatives and coaches are restricted from directing these athletes to any type of NIL opportunity. That’s where we come in!

The Blue & Gold Standard was founded by members of our community with a deep connection to Murray State University who are looking to maintain a competitive landscape for our student-athletes by providing them with support both on and off the field. We work to raise funds and facilitate opportunities for fans, alumni, businesses, and brands to work professionally with our student-athletes. This enables us to provide them with the resources to succeed, allowing them to remain focused on their academic and athletic performance.

While we are not affiliated with Murray State University, The Blue & Gold Standard has been endorsed as the official NIL entity of Racer Athletics.

What is NIL?

“NIL” refers to an individual’s name, image, and likeness – their personal brand. In 2021, the NCAA started allowing collegiate student-athletes to earn compensation from it.

Why is it beneficial for student-athletes to work with the Blue & Gold Standard?

The Blue & Gold Standard makes the NIL compensation process safe, simple, and financially rewarding for Murray State Athletes, shielding them from complex contract negotiations and potentially exploitative deals.
